Three weeks ago, I called on Governor Hochul to convene a meeting with the District Attorneys of the five boroughs to develop a set of standards for prosecution in response to the Manhattan DA’s new memo. While the Governor has failed to do so, I commend Mayor Adams for doing just that yesterday at City Hall.

Governor Hochul refuses to fix bail reform, and she refuses to hold the Manhattan DA to his duty to enforce the law.
